Google Street helps to arrest "bandits"

Dutch police have arrested two people accused of looting his wealth and the young boy, after having been identified by the victim in the picture taken by the cartographic representation of the search engine Google.

Dutch police believe it is the first time using the program in order to "fight crime" in the Netherlands.

The case began late last year after claiming the boy, aged 14 years, said he was attacked during a robbery of $ 230 dollars.

After months of the alleged incident called the police again and said he saw the image, which is an attack on the Google site.

The spokesman said police spokesman Gronngen north of the Netherlands: "This situation is unique, we have taken the picture before the pleasures of a crime."

I have contacted the police supervisors on the map for the original image because the images displayed on the Site is subject to the process of blurring of features.

Responded to the program were identified as the aggressor - the twins - then arrested them.

The scope of coverage of Google's Street View since its inception in 2007 to include a larger number of cities across the world.
